RaidenFTPD heeft versie 2.4 build 1550 van zijn gelijknamige FTP server uitgebracht. De serversoftware is verkrijgbaar in drie verschillende versies; Advanced-, Pro- en Home-edition. De advanced-versie heeft natuurlijk alle mogelijkheden aan boord, in de pro-versie ontbreekt de ODBC database-ondersteuning en de home-versie moet het daarnaast ook stellen zonder SSL/TLS-encryptie. De release notes laten zien wat er de laatste paar versies allemaal is veranderd:

- added: 4 .sql files inside raidenftpd/sql directory
- added: automatic backup to .user and .allow files if you are using ODBC users/ip-access tables
- fixed: ODBC help urls were pointed to english version under chinese windows
- fixed: site list ip/user couldn't list users and ips from ODBC tables
- changed: allowing super level users who are in multiple groups to add users to his sub-group
- changed: dupe-check offline .lst was case-sensetive for allowing list, not it's not case sensetive
