De ontwikkelaars achter RaidenFTPD hebben enkele dagen geleden een nieuwe versie van hun gelijknamige ftp-serverprogramma uitgebracht. Het gaat om versie 2.4 build 3680 en deze kan als update voor een bestaande installatie of als volledige setup worden gedownload. Het programma kan als Home-, Pro- of Advanced edition worden gebruikt. De Advanced-versie heeft alle mogelijkheden aan boord, in de Pro-versie ontbreekt de ondersteuning voor een odbc-databases en de Home-versie moet het daarnaast ook stellen zonder ssl/tls-encryptie. Raidenftpd is alweer een tijdje niet voorbijgekomen in de Meuktracker, dus hier volgt een wat langere lijst met veranderingen:

- added: after adding an user, when the program wants to copy the site information into clipboard, it will be using server dns name (if entered) instead of server ip address now.
- added: new scheduler system function, set_ftpd($key,$value), which can be used to write to *.ftpd file at any key entry and assigning a new value to it, finally it will also reload the ftpd file after the change.
