Software-update: RaidenFTPD 2.4 build 3045

De ontwikkelaars achter het FTP-serverprogramma RaidenFTPD hebben zojuist een nieuwe versie uitgebracht. Het gaat om versie 2.4 build 3045 en deze kan als update voor een bestaande installatie worden gedownload, of als volledige setup. Het programma kan op drie manieren worden gebruikt: als home, pro of advanced edition. De advanced-versie heeft alle mogelijkheden aan boord, in de pro-versie ontbreekt de ondersteuning voor een ODBC databases en de home-versie moet het daarnaast ook stellen zonder SSL/TLS-encryptie. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen zien:

• trial policy changes: the server will stop accepting connections if in unregistered mode for more than few hours (when nag screen appears for the 2nd time).
• trial policy changes: the 1st time nag screen will not have ok button disabled, it will be disabled from second time.
• minor changes to the new GUI icons/layouts

added:

• new option in raidenftpd.ini DONT_AUTORESTART_IF_CRASHED=0, set to 1 not to auto-restart RaidenFTPD if it detects a crashing
• new raidenftpd splash screen
• program will generate IE's ftp url for an user to access the ftp site after creating an user
• chinese version of ftp server welcome message into clipboard after creating an user
• new menu item HELP-Generate SSL certificate and private key, which will lead you to our online SSL key generation service page
• compatibility with ftpvoyager's change password command (site pswd "oldpass" "newpass")
• user wizard - temp account option, automatically delete account after 3 days
• user editor - delete account after it expires option

fixed:

• help menu online document item does not work properly
