CDBurnerXP Pro is een gratis programma waarmee cd's en dvd's kunnen worden gebrand. Tevens is het in staat audio-cd's te rippen en op te slaan als een wav-, mp3-, wma- of ogg-bestand. Versie 2.2.5 is zojuist uitgekomen en naast een hoop bugfixes voegt het onder andere de mogelijkheid toe om ISO-images te maken. De installatie weegt zo'n 15MB en kan hier neer worden gehaald. Als je ook met wma-bestanden aan de slag wilt, maar Windows Media Player 9 is niet geïnstalleerd zal eerst de Windows Media Format 9.0 Update moeten worden uitgevoerd voordat CDBurnerXP wordt geïnstalleerd. Het changelog voor 2.2.5 ziet er als volgt uit:

- Corrected an error when deleting a file that was already added to a compilation.
- Added resize functions to Data Writer, Audio Writer, DVD Writer and ISO Creator.
- Corrected an error that occurred when trying to convert nrg files bigger than 2GB.
- Corrected that nothing changed when selected different data modes in CDWriter.
- Added more options to CDBurnerXP Pro.
