Versie 2.5 van MusicBee is uitgekomen. MusicBee is een uitgebreid en gratis programma voor het beheren en afspelen van muziek. In een overzichtelijke interface kunnen tags worden aangepast, cover art en songteksten worden gedownload, bestanden worden geconverteerd en audio-cd's geript, en kan met diverse mp3-spelers worden gesynchroniseerd. Verder is het uiterlijk aanpasbaar, kan de functionaliteit met bass-plug-ins worden uitgebreid en is het programma ook in het Nederlands te gebruiken. This version includes:
- UPNP plugin support which enables output to a UPnP device or to browse and play content in your MusicBee library from a UPnP compatible renderer. More info.

- Music Explorer which provides searching and filtering to explore artists and tracks, including integration with last.fm and also echonest for track filtering

- You can now keep specific tracks in an album in sequence when shuffling. Edit the relevant files and tick "keep tracks in sequence when shuffling"
- Various dialog windows are now resizable and remember their last position
- Support for the shoutcast station directory in the Radio tab
- The total time displayed in the status bar for all files in the Now Playing list can be toggled to show the time remaining

Overigens is Steven (de maker van het programma) op het forum erg actief in het verhelpen van bugs, dus bij een melding zal hij je vaak emailen om preciezere informatie te vragen die voor het belangrijk zijn. Deed hij ook bij een eerdere bug die ik ervoer bij versie 1.3 indertijd.
