Software-update: EMDB 2.31

Versie 2.31 van EMDB is uitgekomen. EMDB, wat staat voor Eric's Movie Database, is een gratis programma waarmee een filmcollectie kan worden beheerd. Hoewel de download slechts 2MB groot is, beschikt het over uitgebreide functionaliteit. Zo kan relevante informatie van onlinedatabases als IMDb, MovieMeter, TMDb en TheTVDB worden opgehaald, kan worden bijgehouden welke films uitgeleend zijn en kunnen films die op de harde schijf staan direct vanuit het programma gestart worden. EMDB kan worden gebruikt in diverse talen, waaronder het Nederlands. Sinds versie 2.28 zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

Changes in version 2.31

• File Import: Adding support to import data into the custom fields.
• User interface: If Right click to show tooltip is enabled the Right click will not show the context menu anymore.
• Search: Fixed yet another crash in Search Directors.
• User interface: Improved sorting further. EMDB now uses a Natural Sorting algorithm with locale support. This way special sorting orders (like Danish) are supported and 'Star Wars 3' is shown before 'Star Wars 11'.
• User interface: Right click on a selected movie on the bookshelf does not reset a multiple selection anymore.
• User interface: Added a full screen option. You can toggle Full Screen using F11. You can alsoe restore Full Screen using ESC.
• Add from Hard Disk: all but (YEAR) within brackets is now again stripped when using file names to search on IMDb.
• Translations: Updated the Catalan, Czech, Greek, French, Portuguese (Brazil) and Dutch translations.

Changes in version 2.30

• User interface: The DPI improvements broke displaying of the customized name in some cases.

Changes in version 2.29

• User interface: Added a zoom function to the bookshelf for ultra high resolution displays or displaying on large (TV) screens. You can use Ctrl-ScrollWheel to zoom or use the Bookshelf Options Page.
• User interface: Added Awards to the selectable columns for Printing/Exporting and displaying in ListView.
• User interface: You can now unselect a movie using Ctrl Click on an already selected movie.
• Search: Fixed a crash in Search Global / Search Directors.
• Search: Fixed some issues with selecting items from the listboxes in the Search Cast and Search Directors pages.
• Database: Added 'REMASTERED' as additional option for the Version field.
• HTML Export: Added tags for Studio (#STUDIO# and #STUDIO_TRANSLATION#), Custom Number (#CUSTOM_NUMBER# and #CUSTOM_NUMBER_TRANSLATION#), and Custom Fields (#CUSTOM_FIELD1#, #CUSTOM_FIELD1_TRANSLATION#, #CUSTOM_FIELD2# and #CUSTOM_FIELD2_TRANSLATION#).
• IMDb Search: Improved the IMDb search matching algorithm. EMDB now fully follows the Kodi/XBMC media file naming conventions (http://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/Movies) e.g. "Avatar (2009).mkv". Multiple files should be extended with "-cd1", "-cd2" etc. to automatically convert them to playlists.
• Export / Print: Prevent columns to be invisible because their width is set to 0 characters.
• Translations: Updated the Spanish, Czech, Arabic and Dutch translations.
