Software-update: EMDB 2.19

Versie 2.18 van EMDB is uitgekomen en kort daarop versie 2.19. EMDB, wat staat voor Eric's Movie Database, is een gratis programma waarmee een filmcollectie kan worden beheerd. Hoewel de download slechts 2MB groot is, beschikt het over uitgebreide functionaliteit. Zo kan relevante informatie van onlinedatabases als IMDb, MovieMeter, TMDb en TheTVDB worden opgehaald, kan worden bijgehouden welke films uitgeleend zijn en kunnen films die op de harde schijf staan direct vanuit het programma gestart worden. EMDB kan worden gebruikt in diverse talen, waaronder het Nederlands. Sinds versie 2.17 zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

Changes in version 2.19

System:

• Fixed a (false positive) damaged database message in some cases.

Changes in version 2.18

IMDb import:

• When no Original Title is found as Alternative Title the English title is now used to prevent empty alternative titles.

System:

• The AutoUpdater is now started as Administator when EMDB is installed in Program Files (x86) to enable it to overwrite the current files with the new downloaded ones. Microsoft's UAC prevented the updater to work correctly until now in this case.

User Interface:

• Added number and % seen movies, average IMDb rating, average User rating to the Statistics Options page.

System:

• Fixed media files with '&' in it's file name were not playable from the main window.

Database:

• Added Dolby Atmos to the Audio Streams field.
• Added 2 custom fields with user defined names.

Export / Print:

• Added Aspect Ratio and Custom number to the possible fields to export / print.
