Versie 2.09 van EMDB is uitgekomen. EMDB, wat staat voor Eric's Movie Database, is een gratis programma waarmee een filmcollectie kan worden beheerd. Hoewel de download slechts 2MB groot is, beschikt het over uitgebreide functionaliteit. Zo kan relevante informatie van onlinedatabases als IMDb, MovieMeter, TMDb en TheTVDB worden opgehaald, kan worden bijgehouden welke films uitgeleend zijn en kunnen films die op de harde schijf staan direct vanuit het programma gestart worden. EMDB kan worden gebruikt in diverse talen, waaronder het Nederlands. De changelog voor deze uitgave ziet er als volgt uit:
User Interface:Add from Hard Disk:
- Added options to change the Date Seen, Date Added and Date Loaned.
- Fixed the Show Movies (without TV Series) filter.
- Groups were not updated when using Next/Previous in the Add/Edit Movie dialog.
- Column Seen in ListView now shows the actual date the movie was seen.
- Fixed showing movies as Bluray cases did not work correctly in some situations.
- Added Case to the default options page.
- Added modifying Case to the Edit Multiple Movies window.
- Incorrect remaining movies were shown after deleting multiple movies at once although the database was updated correctly.
Database:
- Improved reading of local nfo and cover files.
- Thumbnails were not retrieved from IMDb while importing movies from a hard disk.
- Added a warning when TV Series episodes are found during Add from hard disk (as they should be associated in the TV Series screen).
Translations:
- Added 'Slovenian' as possible value for audio streams and subtitles.
- Added 'Bluray Book' and 'Digipak' as options for the Case field.
- Single translations are not reverted to English if the previous selected language was not English and an item is not translated in the newly selected language.
