Locktime Software heeft een update voor de eerder deze maand verschenen versie 4 van NetLimiter uitgebracht. Met dit programma kan al het in- en uitgaande netwerk- en internetverkeer in de gaten worden gehouden. Het programma is nog niet af en wordt dan ook onder de experimentele vlag uitgebracht. Ook zijn nog niet alle features geïmplementeerd. Wie al een licentie voor versie 3 heeft kan kosteloos upgraden. De release notes voor versie 4 kunnen hieronder worden gevonden.

First public release. - We are proud to introduce brand-new NetLimiter version - NetLimiter 4 - with first public release. Although it is marked as "Testing" and its main purpose is to check its system compatibility and basic functionality in bigger volume of machines and setups, we consider it quite stable and working.
It features new user interface created from scratch and all core components were also newly designed to provide better system support and usability. The most visible new feature of NetLimiter 4 is full compatibility with Windows 8, but in next few weeks we are going to release updates with more functions on board.
