Tixati is een uitgebreide, lichtgewicht en efficiënte bittorrentclient met ondersteuning voor dht, magnet-links en rss-feeds. Het programma geeft uitgebreide informatie over alle aspecten van de download en het in- en uitgaande netwerkverkeer. Downloads zijn beschikbaar voor Windows en Linux. Daarnaast kan er een portable-versie gedownload worden. Het programma toont geen advertenties en bevat ook geen spyware. Versie 1.94 van Tixati is uitgekomen en het changelog daarvan zien er als volgt uit:
