SaveGameBackup.net is een programma waarmee een backup gemaakt kan worden van de savegames van de diverse op een Windows-pc aanwezige spellen. Dat is vooral handig wanneer een schijf opnieuw geformatteerd wordt. Savegames worden namelijk op veel verschillende plaatsen op de computer opgeslagen en dat is dus altijd een hoop zoekwerk. Backups kunnen naar een andere locatie op de computer, het netwerk, of zelfs naar een cloud-dienst als Dropbox worden gemaakt. Er is ondersteuning aanwezig voor ruim duizend spellen. De download is slechts 1MB groot, maar het programma heeft wel versie 4 van het .Net Framework nodig. In versie 1.1 zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

- Multilingual support. It can be found on the Options tab. The languages that are available at the time of release are English, French, German, Spanish, and Slovenian. - Fix: Custom assets would not always appear on the Restore List.
- Fix: Assets with a mask other than *.* now remember folder case. This was caused by an bug with the zip library I use.
- Fix: Issue with forms not unloading properly.
- Fix: Add Custom Entry window will once again remember it's position.
- Fix: A multiple account Steam installation, when combined with the ignore list, could lead to detection failures.
- New Option: Foreign game support. Assets that are not in English will be flagged as "Foreign" in the asset database.
- New Option: Scroll lists horizontally. Enabling this will cause your detection lists to scroll horizontally, instead of vertically. Useful for those with a lot of detected assets.
- New Option: Enabled the main window maximize button.
- Change: Custom Asset List is now sorted properly.
- Change: Version numbering system, truncating the last two numbers except when needed (1.1.0.0 = 1.1).
- Change: Add datestamp to filename option: this option no longer respects your regional settings. Instead, it will always appear as YYYY.MM.DD.
- Change: Updated all tooltips in the Options tab.
- Change: Removed all tooltips from the Add/Edit Custom Entry windows. Instead, there is now a help button at the bottom of these windows.
- Change: Hundreds of code optimizations.
- Databases: \database
- Settings: \settings
- Languages: \language
- If you had any custom entries, you will need to move casset.db into the \database folder.
