VMware Inc. heeft enkele dagen geleden een nieuwe versie van VMware Player vrijgegeven met versienummer 1.0.3 build 34682. Hiermee kunnen virtual machine's gemaakt met VMware Workstation, VMware Server of ESX Server worden uitgevoerd. Ook worden virtual machine's van Microsoft's VirtualPC en de LiveState Recovery disks van Symantec ondersteund. Daarnaast kunnen verschillende, al reeds geïnstalleerde, virtual machine's via deze pagina worden binnen gehaald, zoals Fedora Core 6, Debian 3.1, Ubuntu 6.06 en OpenSUSE 10.1. Change in End User License Agreement (EULA) Display
VMware Player no longer displays the End User License Agreement (EULA) at installation. The EULA is now displayed when you launch VMware Player.
