Er bestaan diverse programma's om RSS-feeds te kunnen lezen. Snarfer is misschien een niet zo bekende, maar daarom zeker geen mindere. Afgelopen maandag is versie 0.7.0 uitgekomen en de download kan hier worden gevonden. Het programma is gratis in gebruik, maar er wordt wel een advertentie in de gebruikersinterface weergegeven. Verder is het noodzakelijk dat het .NET Framework geïnstalleerd is om Snarfer te kunnen gebruiken. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen zien:

- The Add More Feeds menu should have been disabled when the OPML plugin was not installed.

- The system tray icon sometimes failed to show that new messages had arrived.
