Naast een nieuw bios voor de P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP heeft ComputerBase-forumgebruiker Tommy ook een nieuw bètabios van Asus ontvangen voor het P5W DH-plankje. Het gaat om versie 1401, die door op deze link te klikken als zip-file gedownload kan worden. In deze bèta zijn een aantal tweakerwaardige veranderingen doorgevoerd, waaronder de mogelijkheid om de FSB-snelheid te verhogen tot maximaal 550MHz:
