De ontwikkelaars achter the GNU Image Manipulation Program hebben vandaag een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van de 2.2-tak van the GIMP. The GIMP is een fotobewerkingsprogramma en wordt door velen beschouwd als de open-sourcetegenhanger van Adobe Photoshop en Paint Shop Pro en is beschikbaar voor onder andere Windows, Unix en Mac OS X. Hieronder is te vinden wat er in de 2.2-tak allemaal veranderd is sinds de vorige vermelding in de meuktracker:
