Taipei, March 28, 2000- First International Computer (FIC) today announced the release of the 1stMainboard FB11. The Socket 370 supporting FB11 is based around the Intel® 440BX chipset, which has long been established as the industry's most popular, and arguably most reliable, chipset in recent memory. With industry leading processor speeds, courtesy of the state-of-the-art Intel FCPGA (Coppermine) processor, and up to 1GB of SDRAM, the FB11 brings users superb performance combined with unsurpassed levels of stability. With support for Front Side Bus (FSB) speeds of 100 MHz, and beyond, the FB11 motherboard provides users with superb AGP performance, and meets all the needs and requirements of business users, gamers and DIY users. Furthermore, the FB11 will also support the forthcoming Cyrix Joshua processor at 133 MHz FSB.
"The Coppermine processor and the BX chipset are a winning combination", commented Gene Sheu, President of FIC's PC Division, "users crave the very best in raw power and performance, while still wanting total stability. The FB11 motherboard provides the perfect combination of these two factors"
De specs van het plankje: 5xPCI, 2xISA, 4xDIMM.
