The Adrenaline Vault vroeg 3dfx naar een reaktie op klachten die het kreeg over slechte dienstverlening van de 3dfx support afdeling. Volgens deze klachten zou 3dfx slecht reageren op support vragen in het 3dfxgamers.com message board en zou de helpdesk geen goede antwoorden geven op support telefoontjes. 3dfx weet het uiteraard allemaal van de positieve kant te belichten :

We are in the process of consolidating our newsgroup forums by merging certain groups and adding new ones where they are needed. We will have 3dfx employees assigned to monitor each of the forums to ensure the accuracy of the information as well as quality and timely support. We are also adding a searchable database of problems that customers can use to expedite problem solving.
