I clicked the SiN icon that had been placed on my desktop and braced myself for a stupendous ride. Oh- wait, what's this? How come the opening cinema stuff is all off-center? And why does the screen keep flickering back and forth between Windows and the game screens as it's booting up? And what's with the herky-jerky CD audio skippage? Ah, well, it'll probably all smooth out when I start playing. Let's load up the first level, the famed "Bank Heist"…After what seemed like a half an hour of load time later, I was finally playing SiN and it looked marvelous. I have a P2 233 with 64 megs of RAM and a 3DFX Voodoo2 card installed and although there are much better boxes out there, it still does a pretty good job with almost everything I throw at it. I pinned out the video settings to an acceptable level and SiN lit up like a Christmas Tree. I was ready to get lost for a while.
