So is this refrigerated contrivance worth the four and a half grand price tag? Is 1GHz 'all that' important? No… but it's the flashiest PC we've ever seen and it's also the ultimate Quake III: Arena and/or Unreal Tournament gaming system. It will likely remain that way for a few months to come. And despite the price, we couldn't resist dishing out an SE Extreme Hardware Award for sheer technological excellence before shipping it back off to SYS.For those of you that, like us, spends hours a day playing these games, you will be getting your money's worth and the likelihood of being outpaced by another gamer on a faster PC is highly unlikely over the next 3-4 months. Kryotech has really hit the mark this time in terms of spending the effort, money and resources to chill an Athlon 750Mhz down to a temperature that allows them to overclock it by 33% up to that 'magic' 1Ghz milestone. Just don't tell your computer widow where that four and half grand went and you'll be fine…
