Greg simply feels that his job here is done. His expertise lies in the retail sector and as a sales and marketing leader. We brought him on to take us public and to help guide us from being a chip company selling to board companies to a board company selling in retail. We are currently the dominant player in retail and have been since Voodoo Graphics were introduced in 1997. There is no disputing that 3dfx has been successful moving into the retail market under Greg's leadership, however as companies mature, what they need from their leaders change. Greg realizes this and is doing what he feels is best for 3dfx and him. This was a voluntary decision on the behalf of Greg Ballard and will be an amiable departure. He is doing what he thinks is best for him and 3dfx.
