De Titan TCC-CUV1AB Cooler is Dean Barker van Overclocker Cafe goed bevallen aangezien deze cooler geen PCI slot in beslag neemt en toch dezelfde prestaties levert als de Blue ORB. De Titan wordt voor de performance in deze review vergeleken met de eerdergenoemde Blue ORB en iets duurdere maar beter presterende Crystal ORB.

The Titan folks have done a pretty good job with their chipset cooler. It provides performance on par with the Blue ORB while not taking up a PCI slot. This is a definite consideration for some but a non-issue for most. Most boards out now have a minimum of five PCI slots in addition to an AGP slot. If you have a mainboard that is a bit restrictive in space with what you can mount on the Northbridge, the Titan cooler's compact design will provide you the cooling you need without concern for the space it takes up. Another issue when comparing it to the Blue ORB is noise. The BLORB is significantly louder than the Titan heatsink/fan which may or may not be a consideration for you.
The Titan sink is a solid performer sporting great looks but when you get down to it, the Crystal ORB is the way to go. Its performance blows the Titan and the Blue ORB away.

Het installeren van de cooler, zowel op de videokaart als op de northbridge, gaat dankzij de duidelijke handleiding en labels op de bijgevoegde hulpstukken, zonder enkel probleem. Het feit dat de pins wat stroef de bracket in gingen, werd door de reviewer wel gewaardeerd omdat hij hierdoor het gevoel kreeg dat de cooler goed vast kwam te zitten.

De Titan is dus het aanraden waard als je geen PCI slot kan missen, anders kun je beter gaan voor de Crystal ORB.
