I'm impressed with MSI's MX400 Pro-VT32S. The card performed really well, and if you are a gamer who only plays in lower resolutions then there is no reason you should need to spend more on a higher performance video card, except for the bragging rights of course. The MS-8833 includes all the features of the MX400 chip, and also includes Video-In and Video-Out (TV) support, as well as DVD software and video editing software (and the 183MHz memory clock of course). You might think that with the extra software you will be paying more for this card than others. You would be right, but the difference isn't as plain as price. The MS-8833 runs ~$80-85, with other MX400 based video cards costing ~$5-15 less. The catch? Most other MX400 based cards don't have the TV-Out at all, and certainly won't let you edit movies. This sits the MS-8833 in a unique place as it is perfect for OEM's and System Integrators. Video editing is something that your average consumer would be interested in, and would see it as an advantage of one computer over another. It's also great for the gamer on a budget, as it's performance is excellent at lower resolutions, only falling off at higher resolutions due to memory bandwidth constraints.
