This is a very good board from Gigabyte. While the board does not have the class leading performance of the first KT133A board the Soltek, Gigabyte scores a big plus here by providing a board with excellent expansion possibilities. I always like to see 6 PCI slots boards, but when its combined with the excellent ATA/100 RAID controller from Promise, the board is well on its a way to a big thumbs up for me. Even the onboard sound is certainly acceptable, although I consider its inclusion more of a "value" rather than high-end feature.
For the Socket A overclocker - and its clear that Gigabyte have certainly targeted this market here - the facilities are good, with voltage adjust, vio adjust, and multiplier adjust all present and correct. Stability is excellent all round, with the board working without a hiccup up to its maximum speed of 150Mhz.
We've seen three KT133A boards to date, and each board has been excellent, with different qualities. Soltek provides performance, but lack expansion. Epox provides expansion, but not the performance of the Soltek. The Gigabyte provides the fullest feature set - in fact I'd go as far as to say that the Gigabyte has one of the fullest feature set I've ever seen on any board, and its not fluff or padding either. Everything Gigabyte includes on this board will appeal to most users.
