The Claw is directed clearly at one market segment -- the first person shooter. Their literature says it, their web site says it, and we are not going to try to wish it was something that it is not. There is no hat switch or torso-twist; there is no custom keyset-loading software. What it does offer is trouble free performance in a comfortable package at a reasonable price.
Are you a first person shooter fanatic who is tired of controllers that try to be all things to all people? Are you tired of buggy drivers that slow down your system? Then the Claw is what you want. After using the product for a few hours, we like it better than any other such controller we have tried. It just flat out worked -- no issues whatsoever. Sure, it really only works well in one genre, but in that genre, it really works great.
The design is solid, and comfortable; the implementation is innovative, simple and effective. Plug it in, program the keystrokes, use the product and that's all there is to it. If you are looking for these qualities in a first person shooter device, then dial up our gaming comrades down-under and shell out the cash, because the Claw is worth the time and the money.
