Dean Kent van Real World Technologies meldt dat Intel de lancering van i850 Tehama mobo's volgens een mobofabrikant heeft beperkt tot 4 fabrikanten. De reden hiervoor is vermoedelijk een beperkte beschikbaarheid van i850 chipsets. Welke 4 fabrikanten dit zijn is niet helemaal duidelijk, maar waarschijnlijk gaat 't om Asus, MSI, Gigabyte en AOpen. Van de eerste drie is in ieder geval al bekend dat zij i850 mobo's in ontwikkeling hebben:
