GrimLord brengt ons op de hoogte van deze Hercules 3D Prophet II MX van Tech-Gods.com. Het kaartje gebaseerd op nVidia's GeForce2 MX is standaard geklokt op 175/183MHz en maakt gebruikt van SDRAM. De kaart liet standaard al zeer respectabele Quake III scores zien die nog wat omhoog konden worden gekrikt door de Prophet op 190/210MHz over te klokken. Hieronder de conclusie:
I would have to say that this card was a shocker. I was expecting a lot less performance than I got. The card for its cost, as I've told everyone I know, is the best card for 125-150 range, hands down. There are no alternatives in that price range that can take on the features and performance of this MX card, besides perhaps other MX cards, at this moment. I did not encounter any issues with install or performance, and the board itself was constructed well, in Hercules tradition. I must reiterate that if you are in the market for a card not too expensive, but has the kick of a Mossberg, pick this card up. I was thoroughly impressed and could go on about it. Anyways, overall performance was good and I don't think that you'll be disappointed.
