The success we had with the 64Mb GLADIAC is excellent. Actually, its more than excellent. We were able to take the core to 245Mhz and the memory to the maximum on the slide bar to 420Mhz. All this was achieved without additional cooling whereas the GeForce2 Ultra comes equipped with RAM heat sinks not to mention a bigger HSF on the GPU.Performance of the stock 64Mb GLADIAC is negotiable. If you are a high resolution using, 32-bit preferring individual, then this card may prove to be worth the extra Benjamin. Overclocking performance is surely worth the extra money. This is the highest we have ever clocked any stock cooled card here at the lab. A strong word of caution would be not all cards may be this successful when overclocking is concerned. Overclocking is not for the faint at heart or advised in a professional atmosphere. The $430 smackers could very quickly be shot by trying to get just one more FPS in Quake.
