Thresh's FiringSquad heeft de 2 nieuwe smurfkleurige optische muizen van Logitech eens onder de loep genomen. De Wheel Mouse heeft nog steeds de klassieke vormgeving en is een stuk kleiner dan zijn grote MouseMan Wheel broer die een wat meer ergonomische look heeft. De reviewer vond laatstgenoemde wat te lomp om mee te gamen, maar dit is uiteraard een persoonlijke voorkeur. Beide muizen bleken zeer fijn in het gebruik:
While reviewing these products, we really grew to like the concept of two mice hooked up to the same computer. However, to the average gamer and computer user, two mice just isn't feasible. If these two hadn't appeared on our doorstep, I doubt any of us would even bother have bothered with hooking up two mice. So unless you have cash to burn, this option is pretty much out.
The things common to both mice are the drivers, anything we mentioned before can be used on both mice. And our guess is that both of these mice have the same optical implementation, meaning they perform the same. Price-wise Logitech is asking no more than what a high-quality mouse price commands. The only differences these mice really have is: shape, one thumb button, and a gorgeous blue LED.

Veel mensen zeuren dat ie te groot of te hoog is, maar ik zelf vind dus de Logitech muizen juist slecht gevormd. Dit is niet bedoeld als kritiek, maar het is gewoon heel persoonlijk wat wel en niet lekker werkt. Ik heb redelijk grote handen, dus dat zal ook wel iets uit maken. Eigenlijk zou elke muis er in twee maten moeten zijn, zeker nu we weten dat de muis een RSI monster is. Een muis die goed bij je hand past is gewoon te belangrijk.

Ik ken ook een paar andere linkshandige computer gebruikers, maar allemaal muizen ze met rechts. Waarom? Omdat bij elke pc de muis standaard rechts ligt. En als je net aan het computer avontuur begint, leg je niet eerst heel demonstratief de muis links... je leert gewoon met rechts te muizen
