Many opportunists have introduced countless forms of liquid cooling to the overclocking community but unfortunately, most of these people and their ideas have disappeared. Some coolers were successful and some never became anything more than a pipedream. One of the few successful water cooler manufacture is Overclockers Hideout. Overclockers Hideout has clawed their way out of the dark underworld of experimental cooling to bring you their new "Blizzard CPU Intercooler".
[...] The results are obvious, water cooling has awesome benefits! With an Alpha PEP66, I can't run much faster than 850MHz but with the Blizzard CPU Intercooler, 990MHz became a reality and hitting the 1GHz mark is within reach. I was able to boot into Windows 98 at 1GHz + but the system locks up at the desktop. Lowering the performance of the CPU by tweaking some setting in the BE6-II bios will allow me to run at and above 1GHz but who wants to lower performance? Testing at peak performance is the only way to show off the power of water cooling.
[...] When I look at the Blizzard CPU Intercooler, all I see is endless possibilities for case mods to make super cooled, fire breathing, overclocked, kick ass systems! This kit is definitely something I want to keep and install permanently in my full tower case! Being that the Blizzard CPU Intercooler is closer to being perfect than any other complete water cooling kit I've seen, it is only right to give it high marks.
