To keep the new heatsink on, I placed a drop of glue in each corner. Just a tiny little dab of superglue will go a long way, and its thinner than the thermal paste so it wont cause any problems as far as insulating goes. You may wish for something less permanant, and a bit of thermal tape will do just fine.
As you can see, it looks much meaner now, and is ready for love. The default clock speed on this bad boy is 166mhz, pretty slow and it was running hot. Where is it now? How does 185 with no lockups and no crashes sound? Pretty sweet I think, and its not hot anymore! w00t!
