Nieuwe Asus K7V bios
William let me know that Asus has a new bios out, version 1006a, which is available here. It is dated 5/31/2000Fixes:
1. Fix flashing BIOS failure when user enables Byte Merge function.
2. Fix the incorrect year under Windows 2000.

™uŽºVâW let me know that there are new Via 4 in 1 drivers version 4.22a. These are not officially posted at Via's site so use them at your own risk.[update] From the feedback I have been getting the 4 in 1 drivers can cause a registry error for Windows 98, and possibly Windows 95. I have received 3 reports of this happening. I'm not quite sure what these cases have in common other than they were all using Windows 98. I did not have this problem in 98, but I have not tried 98SE. I also did not have a problem in Windows 2000. This is just further warning that they could hose your registry, so use them with caution in 9x.

Gravis probeert zijn exterminator joypads ook onder windows 2000 te laten werken, de vorige beta's gaven nogal eens BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) op ntgrip.sys maar dat zou nu verholpen moeten zijn. Download ze hier. Thanks Dark voor de tip!
