Itís interesting to note how under OpenGL the ELSA card doesnít quite give the same performance as our reference card did, however Iím sure this will improve over time as drivers improve from ELSA. Direct3D scores, for the most part, were more evenly matched, and in some cases the ELSA even surpassed the reference card.
Being the first to market is a notable feat for anyone, especially for a company the size of ELSA. And looking around, we donít see anyone else on the radar that will be able to get thier cards out before the end of May. Kudos to ELSA for not only being first to market, and not making us wait a long time, but also delivering a solid card that should make a fine fit for any gamer out there.
