This is a very fast card, no ifs, ands, or buts. Until GeForce 2 products are finally on the shelves this card is the fastest video card around. Coupled with the fact that most sites report it to be very overclocker friendly, this makes it a first class choice. How would you like to play the hottest games available today in 32 bit color at 1280x1024? If you'd like that then this card is perfect. If you don't mind lower resolutions then maybe you should stick with your current equipment. Until the next generation of cards comes out, this product is the fastest that you can get, plain and simple.
Image quality is excellent and produced crisp and clear graphics at all resolutions. DVD decoding was smooth and for the most part artifact-free. Throw in that FSAA and S3TC are now supported, and it's a great video card.
[...] With the release of this product Suma has shown it can produce a first rate piece of computing equipment. Everything about the card gave me a sense of a high quality video card. It is also a great performer and is the fastest thing you can buy just now; unfortunately that's only going to last a few weeks at the most, as GeForce 2 GTS cards should be arriving in early May.
As much as I like this card, I can't recommend it to high-end gamers. There are going to be others that are faster available really soon and I would suggest waiting for one of these products. If the price were to come down a fair amount, it might be a great match for those who only have display resolutions up to 1280x1024. As things stand right now this is a great video card that just doesn't have a good position in the 3D accelerator market. Here's hoping that Suma can release a GeForce 2 GTS product to market soon, as they seem to put out extremely well-made stuff.
