CoreCodec heeft versie 2.0.0 van CoreAVC uitgebracht. Met deze Windows-videocodec is het mogelijk om bestanden in het h.264-formaat te bekijken. CoreAVC is efficiënt geprogrammeerd en bijzonder snel, in sommige gevallen zelfs sneller dan vergelijkbare hardware-voorzieningen. Een licentie voor CoreAVC kost $12,95, maar tot de kerst wordt daar tijdelijk 3 dollar korting op gegeven. Gebruikers van een 1.x versie kunnen voor $4,95 upgraden, tenzij de licentie in de afgelopen twee maanden is aangeschaft. In dat geval kost de upgrade niets.
