Skype heeft een nieuwe versie van zijn VoIP-programma voor het Linux-platform uitgebracht. Het gaat om versie 1.0.0.20 en deze kan voor verschillende Linux-distrubuties vanaf deze pagina worden gedownload. In deze versie treffen we naast de nodige bugfixes ondersteuning aan voor twee betaalde services van Skype, namelijk SkypeIn (nog niet in Nederland verkrijgbaar) en Voicemail. Het volledige changelog ziet er als volgt uit:

- problem with user counter on start tab
- don't show already deleted voicemails on start tab
- sometimes System Tray icon blinks without any reason
- does not ignore incoming call
