De ontwikkelaars van Pinnacle Systems hebben een nieuwe update klaar gezet voor hun Pinnacle Studio 9. Het betreft een betaversie met de aanduiding 9.4.0.26b die alleen geïnstalleerd kan worden op versie 9.4.0.23c of op versie 9.4.0.25. Het programma stelt je in staat om je eigen homevideo te bewerken, te encoderen naar een andere indeling en/of te branden naar dvd of cd. Het changelog sinds de laatste vermelding in de meuktracker ziet er als volgt uit:

- Divx files no longer crash Windows Media Player
- Previewing in DVD emulation no longer stops playback at the end of a menu
- Minor fixes to progressive encoding user interface
- Fixed preview problems with Moviebox USB
- Studio no longer crashes when rendering AVI or Mpeg 1,2,4 to Make Mpeg > Mpeg-4.
