De mensen van Pinnacle Systems hebben een paar dagen geleden een nieuwe patch beschikbaar gesteld van hun Studio 9-software. Het gaat om de nog in bètafase verkerende versie 9.4.0.23c en is via deze link direct te downloaden. Helaas heeft het bedrijf geen release notes achtergelaten bij deze versie. Pinnacle Studio 9 stelt je in staat om bijvoorbeeld je eigen homevideo te bewerken, te encoden naar een andere indeling en/of te branden naar onder meer een dvd of cd.

is deze update ook geschikt voor de trial versie studio 9.3.2 welke ik middels een keygenerator heb omgesleuteld tot een FULL version:

De beta versie werkt. Na twee keer installeren! Let goed op dat je na een eventuele uninstall je systeem reboot. Anders begint je systeem te mekkeren over een diskmaker.dll die hij niet kan vinden!
Versie lijkt voorlopig stabiel, had wel ff een hapering met het 16x9 formaat. Dit bleef tijdens het renderen op 4x3 hangen. Gewoon nogmaals renderen en het was verholpen!

Wat we nog missen in Pinacle is de multi-audio-track voor DVDs. Bijvoorbeeld je home-video met origineel geluid of inplaats van je eigen stem b.v. een muziekspoor.

Hopelijk is het nu wel mogelijk om op double layer DVD te branden.
Versie ziet er goed uit. Alleen de extra overgangen die je erbij krijgt werken niet!
