Skype heeft zijn Linux versie van het gelijknamige VoIP programma bijgewerkt naar versie 0.94.0.1. Met Skype kan gratis naar andere gebruikers van dit programma worden getelefoneerd. Het is ook mogelijk om tegen een kleine vergoeding te bellen naar vaste- of mobiletelefoongebruikers. Het changelog van deze release ziet er als volgt uit:
