Vanaf de homepage van PCMark04 kan in de vorm van build 1.3.0 een nieuwe versie van de benchmark gedownload worden. Dit programma test de processor, grafische kaart, harde schijf en werkgeheugen dat zich in de pc bevindt. Daarnaast worden enkele applicaties gedraait om de algehele performance te toetsen. In deze 1.3.0-release zijn de volgende veranderingen doorgevoerd:

- PCMark04 (Build 1.3.0) is currently the only supported version of PCMark04. Users are not able to submit any results to the Online ResultBrowser with any of the older versions of PCMark04.
- PCMark04 (Build 1.3.0) is available both as a patch (2.8MB) and as a full install (35MB).
- The Pro and Business version registration codes for PCMark04 Build 1.0.0, Build 1.1.0 and Build 1.2.0 also work for PCMark04 Build 1.3.0
