De mensen van Futuremark hebben in de vorm van build 1.2.0 een nieuwe versie van PCMark05 online gezet. De nieuwbakken build kan gedownload worden als patch en als full version, die beide respectievelijk 18 en 86 megabyte zwaar zijn. PCMark05 is een benchmarkprogramma om de algehele prestaties van een computer te testen. Zo wordt niet alleen de grafische kaart aan een test onderworpen, maar worden de processor, harde schijven en het werkgeheugen getoetst. Daarnaast wordt het systeem druk aan het werk gezet: video wordt geëncode en geluid wordt omgezet naar een ander formaat. Nieuw in PCMark05 build 1.2.0 is de ondersteuning voor Windows Vista en Internet Explorer 7. Daarnaast zijn er aantal bugs uit de software gehaald:

Important Notes:
- PCMark05 Build 1.2.0 is the only supported version of PCMark05. The Online ResultBrowser doesn't allow any submissions from any of the previous versions of PCMark05.
- PCMark05 Build 1.2.0 is available both as a patch and as a full installation.
- Your current registration codes for PCMark05 works for Build 1.2.0 as well.
