Software-update: Ocenaudio 3.21.0

Versie 3.21.0 van Ocenaudio is uitgekomen, een geluidsbewerkingsprogramma van Braziliaanse bodem met versies voor Windows, Linux en macOS. Het heeft uitgebreide mogelijkheden, zoals ondersteuning voor vst-plug-ins en het uitvoeren van een bewerking op verschillende plekken in een bestand tegelijk. Het openen en opslaan van bestanden gebeurt op de achtergrond, zodat het programma beschikbaar blijft. Verder is er een spectrumanalyzer aanwezig en het programma gaat zeer efficiënt om met geheugen. Het vergelijkbare Audacity heeft nog meer mogelijkheden en daardoor is Ocenaudio, zeker voor de beginnende gebruiker, net wat makkelijker te gebruiken. • Adds a new audio system for playback and recording: switching devices takes effect immediately, a device that is unplugged and plugged back in resumes on its own, and cards with many channels are no longer treated as stereo

• Adds a warning when audio devices drift out of sync during recording
• Improves the level meters, with a configurable dB scale, calibrated response and every input channel identified
• Improves the System Default row, which now shows the name of the device chosen by the system and follows changes made outside the program
• Improves automatic backend selection on Windows, which now uses WASAPI: the sample rate the system shows is the one the program opens
• Improves the count-in and the recording session timer in the open files list
• Fixes VST plug-in editor windows that appeared blank on Windows
• Fixes VST2 and VST3 plug-in failures when given large audio blocks
• Fixes VST plug-in loading on Linux, which did not look in the standard directories
• Fixes opening AVI files
• Fixes detection of .srt subtitles stored next to the audio file on Windows
• Fixes the track link list, which pointed to the wrong track when a filter was applied
• Fixes the toolbar controls on macOS 26, including long press
