Asustor heeft een nieuwe versie van Asustor Data Master versie 5.0 uitgebracht, de beheersoftware voor al zijn nasproducten. Voor meer informatie over ADM 5 verwijzen we naar deze pagina. Deze update voegt onder meer gezichtsherkenning toe aan de Photo Gallery. Om dit werkend te krijgen zal na de upgrade ook de Photo Gallery-app bijgewerkt moeten worden. - ADM now supports facial recognition in Photo Gallery. After installing Photo Gallery in App Central and enabling the Beta feature, Photo Gallery will automatically identify people in all photos in your photo library. AI features are opt-in.
- Improved the performance and workflow of scanning for duplicate files in File Explorer. (Beta)
- When initializing an ASUSTOR NAS with ADM 5.1.1, the auto blacklist will now be enabled by default in ADM Defender to proactively protect against suspicious IP addresses connecting to your NAS.
- The instructions and process to factory reset have been adjusted.
- A new option to shut down the NAS after a factory reset has been added.
- ADM now supports establishing a VPN connection after importing an OpenVPN profile with multiple certificates.
- Files stored in NAS shared folders can now be opened normally using Samba with Autodesk 3DS Max.
- Revised ADM UI design and explanatory texts to improve user experience.
- ADM now properly displays CPU information for Lockerstor Pro Gen2 series NAS.
- Support added for USB Wi-Fi 7/6E dongles on ADM 5.1.1. Models listed below: ASUS USB-BE92 Nano (Wi-Fi 7), TP-LINK BE6500 (Wi-Fi 7), TP-LINK AXE3000 (Wi-Fi 6E), MSI AX5400 (Wi-Fi 6E). Supported frequency bands dependent on region.
