Adium X is een IM-client voor MacOS X die deels gebaseerd is op Gaim. Dankzij deze basis kan je chatten op de netwerken van AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, Trepia en Napster. Door plugins te gebruiken, is de functionaliteit van deze instant messenger makkelijk uit te breiden. De volgende punten zijn veranderd in de release van versie 0.53:
