Op Macromedia.com lezen we over een ernstig veiligheids-lek in de veelgebruikte Macromedia Flash Player: het lek maakt alle computers met een niet-gepatchte versie van de speler kwetsbaar voor Buffer Overflows. Om dit gat te dichten is er een 'cumulative security patch' uitgebracht welke de Flash Player naar versie 6.0.79.0 opwaardeert:
