De 
Mozilla Foundation heeft versie 31.2.0 van Thunderbird uitgebracht. Mozilla Thunderbird is een opensourceclient voor e-mail en nieuwsgroepen, met features als ondersteuning voor verschillende mail- en newsaccounts, een spamfilter, spellingscontrole en een aanpasbaar uiterlijk. In versie 31.2.0 is een probleem verholpen met het verzenden in het geval dat er zowel een contact als een lijst met dezelfde naam in het adressenboek aanwezig was. Daarnaast zijn er ook diverse beveiligingsproblemen verholpen.
Fixed in version 31.2.0:
