De vijfde bètarelease van NewsBin Pro versie 6.52 is uitgekomen. Met dit programma kunnen bestanden zoals foto's, films en programma's van usenet worden gehaald. Nieuw in versie 6.50 is onder meer een watch-functie, waarmee naar specifieke content uitgekeken kan worden bij het ophalen van de headers. Ook kan de download worden uitgepakt naar een andere locatie dan waar deze in eerste instantie wordt opgeslagen. De changelog voor bèta 5 ziet er als volgt uit:

- Has new compaction logic, auxiliary files, like .nfo and .srr, are now included in compacted lines to clean up the display. Click the + sign to expand the set and gain access to those files if you need them separately.

- Fix for download order processing.
- Possible fix for some intermittent crash reports.
