Mede8er heeft na meerdere bètareleases nu de final uitgebracht van versie 3 van de firmware voor de mediaspelers uit de X3D-serie. De modellen uit de X3D-serie - de MED600X3D, MED800X3D en MED1000X3D - zijn uitgerust met een Realtek 1186-mediaprocessor, wat onder meer betekent dat ze geschikt zijn om 3d-materiaal af te spelen. Versie 3.0.0 heeft net als versie 2.0.0 een aparte bootloader nodig, instructies daarvoor kunnen hier worden gevonden. De changelog voor versie deze uitgave laat de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen zien:

Now press 'edit' button and edit as normal and when you save the source movie folder will also be updated.
