2Brightsparks heeft versie 6.5.15.0 uitgebracht van SyncBackFree. Dit programma is de meest eenvoudige en daarmee meteen ook gratis uitvoering van de backup-programma's die dit bedrijf in de aanbieding heeft. Naast backups maken kan SyncBackFree ook data synchroniseren. Dit kan naar een locatie op dezelfde schijf, een andere schijf, een ander medium zoals een cd-rw of een usb-stick, een ftp-server of een zip-archief. Naast SyncBackFree zijn er ook SyncBackSE en SyncBackPro, die voor respectievelijk 29 en 46 euro een hoop extra functionaliteit bieden. In deze release zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:
