Er is een update uitgebracht voor versie 5.0.0 van UltraDefrag. Dit opensource-defragmenteerprogramma kan zijn werk doen op Windows NT en hoger. Aparte downloads zijn beschikbaar voor 32bit-, 64bit- en ia64-omgevingen, en zijn gemiddeld slechts een paar honderd kilobyte groot. Meer informatie over dit programma en de mogelijkheden ervan is op deze pagina te vinden. In deze release treffen we de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aan:

- The representation of disk clusters on the cluster map was improved.
- A problem with the MFT Zone redraw was fixed.
- A problem with checking the correct number of keyboards at boot time was fixed.
- The installer now forces the default action for .luar files to be "view".
- The translations Bosanski and Arabic have been added. Thanks to the translators.
- A PDF version of the documentation is now available as separate download.
- Additional information was added to the intro and GUI sections of the documentation.
