Software-update: MediaInfo 0.7.34

Het is even stil geweest rondom MediaInfo, maar vrijdag is er met versienummer 0.7.34 weer een nieuwe uitgave verschenen. Dit programma is bedoeld om meer te weten te komen over de eigenschappen van audio- en videobestanden. Zo geeft het uitgebreide informatie over de tags, gebruikte codecs en containers. MediaInfo is beschikbaar voor Windows, Linux en Mac OS X, en kan met een grafische gebruikersinterface of via de commandline worden gebruikt. Het programma is geheel naar eigen smaak aan te passen en ook in het Nederlands te gebruiken. Verder zijn er uitgebreide mogelijkheden om de verzamelde informatie te exporteren. Het changelog van deze versie laat de volgende veranderingen zien:

Bug correction

• CEA-708: Skipping some malformed streams
• JPEG/M-JPEG: Resolution was in some random other field

• AVI: crash with some malformed files
• AVI: Stream identifier was not filled in some cases
• MPEG-PS: some files were not well detected
• WAV: Bit Depth is back
• WAV/PCM: Byte sign was wrong if Bit depth >8
• Decimal point issues with some specific compilers/OS
• MPEG-4: removing support of btrt atom for average bitrate, too many wrong values
• AVI: crash with some specific files (avc1 CodecID)
• MPEG-4+AAC: Trying to better detect the (non)presence of PS if there is no PS header
• MPEG-TS/PS: more precision on duration

"Even stil" is 1 maand geen update. Valt best mee vind ik zelf. Wel fijn proggie.
